Crysis Remastered on Xbox One X is unfortunately a mixed bag

It`s not bad, but it could — and should — have been much better. When it launched in 2007, the original Crysis shook the gaming industry with its advanced lighting and rendering technology. In many ways, Crysis paved the way for the future of video game graphics — and now, 13 years later, developer Crytek has remastered its visuals up to 2020 standards. But while Crysis Remastered is beautiful in many ways (and even innovates just like the original did), performance issues and a stylistic departure from 2007 Crysis makes this new coat of paint feel disappointing.
