Marvel Studios` first big announcement at its highly-anticipated San Diego Comic Con 2019 panel was a confirmation that, yes, an Eternals movie is actually, really, for real coming, with a launch date slated for November 2020.Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige described the tone of Eternals as being `full Jack Kirby`, referrring to the famed comic book artist/writer`s unique and colorful cosmic art style, and described the characters as ``a group of immortals who have been on earth for 35000 years, but we haven`t met them before.`Jack Kirby created the Eternals, who are superpowered beings created millions of years ago when the Celestials travelled to Earth and experimented on early humans. While news about the cast for the movie has been around for many months, this news from SDCC was the first official confirmation of the movie being produced.Director Chloe Zhao (from films The Rider and Songs My Brother Taught Me) took to the stage to join Feige, and said the film was `about this group of incredible immortals but through their journey we really get to see what it means to be human.`The film`s impressive cast then took to the stage. Eternals will feature actors like Angelina Jolie (in the role of Thena), Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek (as Ajak), Brian Tyree Henry (as Phastos), and Richard Madden (as Icarus). DEVELOPING
